Just wanted to update you that I have been doing good. Still at the pediatric office and I love it. Being around so many people who studied the medical field I was coincidentally diagnosed with adhd which led to me starting medication and it has been life changing. I always think back to our sessions bc you made an impact in my life being so supportive and positive and far from judgmental and I want to give you thanks ! keep being awesome Since I've started the medication I've been a better mom and my relationship has gotten better. We were able to afford a home and I got engaged. I made 6 months at work and received a 2 dollar raise. They said my hard work was noticeable and that I've caught on quicker than the other person who started a week before me..
I GOT A NEW JOB!!!!!! 😃 Long story short, I've been applying to many many jobs in the last few months and have only had 2 in person interviews. This past Sunday, I applied to more jobs during my down time. Then on Tuesday, I received an email from one of the jobs I applied for saying they were interested in me and liked my resume. They wanted to do an over the phone interview the following day. Jumped on the phone with them on Wednesday, they LOVED me and wanted to get me into their office for an in person interview ASAP. So I met with them yesterday afternoon! The interview itself went SO GREAT! For some reason, my nerves really kicked in during this one and my heart was racing the WHOLE time...but I kept myself very composed and professional. The interview lasted a little over an hour. Everyone I talked to was so nice and seemed very interested in me and what I could do for them. Everything about the conversations felt SO GOOD! Then this morning, I received a call from the head of the firm and they offered me the position!!!! I said yes! I made sure the salary was what I wanted (they ended up offering a little more than I asked which is great), they offer full benefits, have a bonus program, paid vacation/sick days, etc! I put in my two weeks notice tomorrow and will start my new job on May 16! I will now be the Marketing Director for New South Properties of the Carolinas, LLC. I am so thankful and so excited for this opportunity! My hard work has paid off! I wanted to thank you for your support and for boosting my confidence and getting me prepared for this whole process when I knew absolutely nothing! I truly appreciate everything you have helped me with. Thank you!!!!!
